Jericho Vibar Rosales or simply Echo as fans fondly called him, was born in September 22, 1979. Can you believe he's 32-years old now?! He joined Mr. Pogi contest on the noontime show Eat Bulaga and became a star at ABS-CBN.

He became famous worldwide when he starred in the 2000-2002 teleserye Pangako Sa 'Yo alongside Kristine Hermosa. The TV series was shown in many countries around the world. It was a successful hit in Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Cambodia, Namibia, Kenya, Ghana, Cameroon, Tanzania, Zambia, China, Botswana, Uganda and Singapore. Its highest rating in Indonesia was 50.8%, beating the highest rating of South Korea's Full House which was 50.5%. The series even hit the Top 30 list in China’s national weekly rankings, covering over 2,000 channels and capturing 1.3 billion viewers.

Elmo Magalona Shirtless!

I just checked my blog stats a while ago and I saw some blog visitors searching for "elmo magalona shirtless" and "elmo magalona abs" LOL! I think they're searching for that because they saw the latest movie trailer of Just One Summer featuring Elmo and Julie Anne San Jose. I think the movie will premiere on Aug 15 (correct me if I'm wrong)

His real name is Elmo Moses Arroyo Magalona or popularly known as Elmo Magalona, born April 27, 1994 which means he's 18 years old now. She appeared in a 'Lucky Me' TV commercial and appeared as opening act for a Miley Cyrus concert in Manila.

His latest endorsement includes SMART Telecom and the clothing brand Folded & Hung. He is the sixth (of eight) child of master rapper Francis Magalona.

Martin del Rosario in PINTADA

Another star in the making is Martin del Rosario who is now making waves, thanks to success of PHR Pintada alongside Denise Laurel. His real name is Martin Miguel Mangay del Rosario, born in November 25 of 1992 (he's now 19 years old.)

He received his first acting award in 2001 where he won "Breakthrough Performance by an Actor" for the movie Dagim in the 8th Golden Screen Awards presented by the Entertainment Press Society, Inc. He also won the "New Movie Actor of the Year" award, for the same film, in the 27th PMPC Star Awards for Movies.

SYNOPSIS OF PINTADA:

A love story between a high school boy Sev and his teacher Lysa, who loses her beauty in a tragic fire. This gave her a lifetime scar, physically and emotionally. Lysa is a young woman with a beauty is desired by men and envied by women. One day, a fire breaks out in the school she works in. While trying to rescue her students, a part of her face gets burned.
