Roxanne Guinoo Wants Her Next Relationship To Have An ‘Expiry Date’

Sexy actress Roxanne Guinoo is apparently not yet ready for love after her very controversial breakup with Coverboy Jake Cuenca. At present, the Star Circle Quest alumna is focusing all her attention on work to divert her attention from matters of the heart.

When asked when she will be ready for another relationship, Roxanne said she’s not in a rush to fall in love again. “Ayoko muna kasi andami kong goals. Nandoon na ‘yung focus ko. Nakikita ko naman na kung may nawala man sa akin, may kailangan akong pagtuunan ng pansin ngayon.” Roxanne even said that if she would have it her way, she would like her next relationship to be contractual, a commitment that would only last for a year.“Ang hirap kasing mag-expect ‘pag lifetime contract eh, kaya taon-taon na lang, one year one year na lang,” she said with a laugh.

Meanwhile, The Buzz host Boy Abunda gave his reaction on the actress’ statement in the POV (Points, Opinions and Violent reactions) portion of the show. He reasoned out that there is no telling what happens as far as love is concerned. Boy further explained that love is a very unpredictable subject. “I don’t think you can put a schedule or contract pagdating sa pag-ibig. It’s the nature of love. It’s unpredictable. Hindi natin alam kung ano ang susunod na mangyayari. When you get into a relationship, it becomes a decision to make it work.”

Kris Aquino on her part said that one’s mindset has a big effect on the events of a commitment. “Kung negative na kaagad ang iniisip mo na hindi na tatagal, eh talagang di tatagal,” Kris said. “Eh, kung positive naman ang pananaw mo, (it could help to make it work out). Kris cited Hollywood couple Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith as a couple who does not believe in divorce. “When they got married, pinaninindigan nila they’ll work it out,” Kris emphasized.
