Free Pinoy Big Brother Double Up Live Streaming Online
There were 2 sets of auditions for this season. The first set of auditions were held in late 2007 in several key cities in the Philippines, as well as the cities of Madrid, Milan, and Dubai. Those auditions also produced the housemates for Pinoy Big Brother: Teen Edition Plus. The second set of auditions for this season, as well as for the third Teen Edition, were held in several key cities in the Philippines and the cities of Tokyo and San Francisco. This brought the number of auditioners to 57,824. From those 2 sets of auditions, it was reported that 50 people were chosen for shortlist. A total of 24 housemates have entered the House, fourteen on Day 1 & ten on Day 7.
Unlike previous seasons, the house has been divided into 2 distinct areas with similar rooms and a shared confession room, but both are designed differently - with House A inspired by the architectural design of Antoni Gaudí, and House B featuring reproductions of Vincent van Gogh's paintings. The housemates also include 2 sets of identical twins - with each member of the twins living in both parts of the house, switching between the two areas when instructed. However, the rest of the housemates do not know about the twins, or the fact that there are two houses. The twins will also receive an immunity from nomination for eviction during the first nomination night if they succeed in keeping this a secret, but if they do reveal it they will be forcibly evicted.
The winner of the new season would receive an LCD TV set, an Asian tour package, a business package, a house and lot, and one million pesos. The winner would also donate a million pesos to a charity of their choice, making Double Up the first non-celebrity season to do so.
This season also marks the return of Pinoy Big Brother UpLate, after being replaced by Pinoy Big Brother Über in the second Celebrity Edition and Pinoy Big Brother: Teen Edition Plus. Mariel would continue to host Über while Bianca would take the helm for UpLate. Episodes from the previous week are also recapped through a weekend program on Studio 23 entitled Pinoy Big Brother: Primetime Weekends on Studio 23.

Ang mga unang episodes nakakagipit ng damdamin at moral values towards relationships. The house is really showing bad moral values for Filipinos to follow. Sama nyo.
Yeah,maybe but in some other ways it is an eye opener to many people that in a relationship you've got to trust each other and keep yourselves loyal. it is one of big brother's realization for us to how we should value relationships by being patient and faithful. In a way, the tasks shows a lesson to us which most all people commit mistakes.

Daming alam ng mga to. Alam nilang reality show yan. Di sila maga-audition kung ikahihiya nila ang mga reaksyon nila sa loob ng bahay.
bago sila pumasok dyan alam nilang mapaglalaruan ang emotion nila and im sure may gusto silang matutunan kaya sila sumali. at sa tingin ko tama yung approach ni big brother sa pagtuturo at pagtest na kanila. It is national TV, kahit ano pwede. Hindi naman kailangang seryosohin ang nakikita mo sa tv dahil game lang ang pbb. I-enjoy lang coz their first goal is to entertain.

But at some point the program is really based on reality.. sana nga db ang bawat buhay ng tao ay parang Pbb na rin, you can always ask kuya a second chance or ask for another task ie. sacrifice, as simply as doing it inside the house. :)

ok, this is an honest opinion at hindi ako one sided na kapamilya o kapuso..
on the first week that pbb aired, survivor got me hooked up.. and i found that the episodes that week were boring.. and i was against kuya making the challenge for the twins because basically its pointless.. i don't see the point why kuya made the twins do such a hard challenge with a heavy price, eviction..
now after that week, i got intrigued with the second week as kuya introduced new housemates.. my attention shifted from survivor to pbb.. this maybe is due to the fact that vlad and marvin have been both sent home from tribal council.. i was rooting for them to win but i guess they didn't.. anyway, i got intrigued by the husband and wife and patrick pretending to be the husband of kath.. at first i asked myself why kuya made such a decision.. obviously its for publicity and rating.. but then again, as a psychologist, i dug deeper as to what the cause of this was.. in the end, kuya proved that there is a reason for the said task.. apparently, kath had not yet voiced out her feelings of hurt and pain.. also she voiced out that she did not trust her real husband and is having a difficulty in doing so.. for those who are not psychologists, its ok not to understand.. but what kuya did was for the couple's advantage.. think of it like the couple simply went under marraige counseling. now, with rob and rica, i still don't get it.. but i have a suspicion that aside from added publicity to garner bigger ratings, and that survivor has their own transgender contestant, that pbb's aim is to overcome homophobia in the philippines. we all can see that rica is not like what others stereotype a homosexual to be which is basically malandi and a sex monger.. of course, not all of our brothers and sisters in the sexual minority are starved with sex and revolves their lives on sex alone.. this i think is what kuya wants filipinos to understand.. like the movie star cinema produced involving a gay couple.. i think this is the start for a new era.. and for those religious freaks that say homosexuality is an abomination, who are you to judge? let he who has no sin be the first to condemn and cast the stone..
all in all, i think i won't be watching survivor episodes till next week.. but who knows where the road may lead us.. only a fool would say..

Oi, o'comon ...I learned a lot from the show. Many complain how it explicitly revealed the so-called "immoralities", though, think about it. Are those situations already happening nowadays? If what you see on reality tv is not what we expected to be yet seemed to be happening in real life, do we have to whine and instantly blame the profited company or can we have to examine ourselves and think how we are entertained by our shallow judgement that we refuse to see and realize the other way around --- understanding and learning from their mistakes.

"...The new “PBB” also features “boarders” who are generally more interesting and unconventional than past editions of the tilt, and that’s all to the good. The fact that most of them are good-looking and thus potential stars-in-the-making is a “commercial” given, but there are enough edgy, textured “characters” in the mix to also keep viewers interested beyond the “kilig” value of looks and buff bodies.
Frankly, we’ve never really followed “PBB” all that closely, because we simply aren’t interested in watching people 24/7, like fish in an aquarium. But, the latest edition promises to be more viewable than usual, so we’ll be watching more of it.

I believe PBB is just a reflection of a part of what is real.. I salute the attempts to capture each and every aspect of the society, however, that is really not possible.. So at the end of each show, interpretations and personifications of what you saw will still depend on your personal background and preferences.. I just hope that PBB does not exagerate things or higlight some things that bring the whole thing out of context..
