Erich Gonzales - Maria la del Barrio

After playing 'Nene' in the television remake of "Katorse" which made her one of ABS-CBN's big stars, Erich Gonzales is back in yet another challenging role in the Philippine TV adaptation of hit Thalia-starrer "Maria la del Barrio".

Playing his love interest in the said TV series is his perennial onscreen partner Enchong Dee. Erich Gonzalez even admitted that she felt pressured to do this role:
“Yong pressure hindi talaga ‘yan maaalis. ‘Yong kaba, lahat ng emotions, halo-halo na. But what’s important is that pagdating na ng trabaho ay kailangan mo ng mag-focus at mag-concentrate. Dapat talaga ito ‘yong maging priority mo at huwag ka munang mag-isip ng kung anu-ano. Be ready palagi.” Erich added.
