Maalaala Mo Kaya The Movie 2011

As MMK celebrate its 20th anniversary, a new Maalaala Mo Kaya movie is in the works. “Maalaala Mo Kaya” is the longest-running drama anthology on Philippine television and will hit its 20th year is this coming May 2010.

The first ever MMK movie was shown back in 1994 starring starring Aiko Melendez, Richard Gomez and Chin Chin Gutierrez under the direction of Olivia Lamasan. This year, Star Cinema is planning to produce another movie based on the top-rating drama anthology of all time.

SNN's (Showbiz News Ngayon) Bianca Gonzalez revealed on her Twitter.com account that Imortal star Angel Locsin and Magkaribal star Bea Alonzo are starring in the said movie. This will be directed by Laurenti Dyogi.
