Gerald Anderson On A Life-Changing Experience
Starstudio Magazine’s No. 1 Most Sizzling Man Under 23, Gerald Anderson, describes his experience in working at his upcoming soap opera, “Tayong Dalawa”, as a life-changing one as he had to be subjected to a lot of hardships in preparation for his role as David Garcia, Jr. In an interview, Gerald mentioned that he and co-star Jake Cuenca had an immersion in the Philippine Military Academy (PMA) to get the actual feel of their roles. For this, they were required to sport clean-cut hairstyles, they were also made to undergo trainings with regular PMA cadets; and they were even made to do do boxing routines with the other cadets. They were taught the military-form of discipline within their short stay in the academy.
This and other highlights in the teleserye get me interested in awaiting the show even more. “Tayong Dalawa” starts airing this January 2009 on ABS-CBN’s Primetime Bida block. If you are indeed a Gerald Anderson fan and can’t wait to see him regularly on the small screen, why don’t you watch his horror flick this Metro Manila Film Festival. He appears in an episode of the “Shake, Rattle and Roll X” trilogy entitled “Class Picture” with Kim Chiu. “Shake, Rattle and Roll X” and other movies of the Metro Manila Film Festival hits theaters on Christmas Day 2008.
